Scout Meeting 14th April 2016

To start our meeting we had a minutes silence for the former chief scout Michael John Shinnick who recently passed away. We were very lucky to have him at our first investiture. He will be greatly missed.

After that we played a group game. The aim was to get a tennis ball from one end of the room to the other using our heads. It was tricky at first but lots of fun! Check out a video below.

We then split up into our groups and worked on our emergency badges. Half the group are working to get their stage 3 badge and the newer scouts are working their way up to stage 2.

Some of the Shield Team went through final preparations of their gear for their competition this weekend.

We then finished the meeting by playing a game of snatch the bacon outside.
