Day 7 - Last day of #VentureCamp2018
It bucketed down with rain last night💦💦💦, but this morning when we woke, the sun was shining ☀️. The decision was made to break camp before breakfast as there is nothing worse than packing up in the rain and there were some dirty looking clouds on the horizon. Everyone pitched in and helped each other out. When all of the group gear was packed away mostly dry, we grabbed the remaining food and headed to the camp kitchen. We had just the right amount of cereal, milk, fruit

Venture Camp Penultimate Day 😔
Today was a fairly chilled day. We were all up for breakfast bright and early - well all except Emma who was awarded the Grumpy Hat. She said it’s worth it though as she has the best 😴 ever. After breakfast and a fair bit of faffage we headed for the beach for more Surfing. Some of the girls went for body boards instead of Surf Boards. Venture Camp Day 5
Day 5 dawned with the wind at 6am as predicted. It was blowing a howler so most of us were up bright and early. I say most, but not all. Today’s recipient of the Grump Hat was none other than Ella. However what helps speed things up is using all the trangias and the gas stove instead of just 2 of them. I guess every day’s a s

Venture Camp Day 3
!!!!WARNING!!!! Go put the kettle on and make a cup of tea. This might take a while. There was a rush out of the tents this morning to make sure they didn’t get the Grumpy Hat. The last two were Emma and Ciara (in the same ⛺️) who had to burst out, with Emma just shading it so Ciara got to wear the hat for the day. A quick breakfast and we were off to our only pre-booked activity of the week. We had hired bikes and were going to cycle part of the Western Greenway from Achill
