Scout Meeting 31st March
We took break last week for the Eater Holidays as a lot of the scouts were away with their families. However, we were back with a bang tonight. After our opening Brendan had a patrol challenge. Each patrol had to make a line of all their members in a press-up position, but with their feet on the shoulders of the person behind them instead of on the floor. Sunrise Camp Celebrating 1916 Centenary
As part of the 1916 Centenary Commemorations each scout group in the country was being presented with a Tricolour and a copy of the Proclamation of Independence by members of the armed forces. Sometimes the scouts are too chatty and seem to just want to mess around. The idea of the game was that the person at the back would draw a symbol on the back of the person in front of them and the pers

Scout Meeting - 3rd March 2016

Following the inspection, which is nearly always very well turned out, Brendan presented Fiona with her 20 year service award. It was the right time and place since everyone was in uniform. Brendan gets to make all of these types of presentations since he is the Group Leader. Aoife, one of t
