Scouts move to new Ventures ahead
It was the turn of the Scouts to have their link ceremony. The day arrived when it was time to say adieu to our oldest scouts as they continue their scouting journey on to ventures. Unfortunately we had a couple of sick scouts who were unable to make it last night and who were missed but otherwise we had a pretty full house. Cubs Move to Scouts in Link Ceremony
Tonight was the first meeting of the new year for the cubs, but it was also the last cub meeting for some of the cubs who are moving to scouts. Some of them had been in cubs since the group started 4 years ago so they were both very eager to move up, but also very sad to be leaving after being in the section for so long. That's right folks, we're back tonight to kick off our 5th Year of 89th Bremore Scouting. The Cubs are kicking us off as usual at 7pm. Ventures is tomorrow and Beavers and Scouts are on Thursday as usual. V E N T A C T - 2018
So on Friday we were ready to head down to Ventact and we were BUZZING to say the least. We met at the airport and after catching up with the Briggs boys who were traveling with us we set off. 3 and a bit hours later we ended up in rainy cork.
